Our yard in the Wirral in the West coast of England is the ideal location for you to build your NEW BUILD vessel whether it is in the traditional steel or in the ever growing aluminium range. Our yard can build up to 80m in length indoors or 120m in length outdoors. It can facilitate a draft of up to 12m and it can build more than one vessel at a time. Fully qualified welders and fabricators allow our vessels to be built to IACS Classification and all vessels will come with complete certification to a certifying body of YOUR choice.

FINANCE

Wright International Ltd realise that most customers building NEW BUILD will require some sort of Financial support and that is where Wright International Marine Finance can help you with your next order.

Wright International Marine Finance can provide finance to the tune of 70% if you are interested. We offer finance on the basis of 70% funding to the correct company that find the 30% deposit and can satisfy our funders by providing a set of the last three years accounts and a business plan. This is open to any company and any vessel in the world if our finance department can verify the accounts. The more assets a company has the better chance they have of getting marine finance.

If you wish to proceed with us we will require the information and a copy of the audited accounts for our funders. If this is not available we have to have a verifiable list of assets to test the funders with. Whatever work you require doing no job is too small and only work over 120m is too large. Remember Wright International Ltd yard can take up to 12m in draft and can take more than one vessel at a time. If you own a fleet of boats we can discuss doing up to ten vessels at a time for you. Skilled in full modern computer skills, we can take a photograph of YOUR vessel and paint it out in a new livery on the computer before you have to spend money and possibly not like the end result.

SHIPWRIGHTS

The United Kingdom has long held a reputation for provide some of the best carpenters in the world and this yard is proud to say that it still has these skills to hand. Whether it is refitting a wheelhouse on a Dutch barge, re-caulking the decks or simply replanking a wooden fishing vessel, our yard is able to service your requirements with consummate ease. What separates yards status can very often be down to the reputation set by its skilled carpenters. The coded welders, shipwrights etc all play a part, but because the skills of the carpenters are the finishing skills. It is their trade alone that makes the difference between a vessel being simply a workhorse or becoming a credit to the yard that built it.

Famous ships stand out in history like the Queens not for their steel construction but for the level of finish that their passengers enjoyed on their cruises. This yard has never produced a “Queen”, but it has produced many very talented carpenters that are waiting to assist you with your requirements however large or however small.

WELDERS

For any vessel to be built to Class it has to be built with coded welders and this yard is proud of its tradition for quality construction and manufacture due to its skilled and coded welders. Again the intention is to keep alive these skills by training the apprentices to become the next generation of artisans in Liverpool. Thanks to the vision of Liverpool District Council they have resisted the temptation to destroy these skills in order to build houses on the land and instead endorse the development of the Wright International Ltd yard and the work it is doing.

ELECTRICIANS

In any ship there is always a large degree of electrical wiring and this wiring can and usually is one of the most important key elements of the safe and smooth running of the vessel. Today we take of lot of this for granted, but at the Wright International Ltd yard we endeavour to keep alive these skills in the marine industry. To do this we will train the apprentices of today not only the skills of the electricians but also that of the electronic engineering required by modern navigation. Systems can be installed electrically in ships to cover all aspects of the running of the vessel. Wright International Ltd has these tradesmen available for your New Build, or repair or just rewiring your vessel due to age. Whatever you require in the electrical or electronic service industry Wright International Ltd shipyard can provide the tradesmen to carry it out for you to IACS standards.

ENGINEERS

It is hard to imagine but it is not that long ago that the country now famous for its call centres and service industries, was once famous for its tradesmen and none more so than its ENGINEERS. The United Kingdom has led the way in engineering from building bridges to building the Great Ships of the past. Thanks to Liverpool District Council and the Wright International Ltd Shipyard we intend to rekindle the belief in this field and to train the apprentices of today to carry on these skills our country was once proud to lead the world in.

Today we live in a disposable world. When something does not work we no longer have the skills to repair it we just through it away and fit a new one. Now imagine for a moment you are a Fisherman. You have seen Politicians cut your livelihood to a mere existence compared to the good times of the past. Your engine has developed problems and the yards you have contacted have given you the bad news.

Not only will it cost you more than you can afford for a new engine there is now a waiting list on New Engines of up to one year. TOWAGE

Wright International Ltd has recognised the fact that if you have a blown engine, damaged prop, run a bearing, etc, your boat is without its own power. That is where Wright International Ltd can come to you aid. We have a fleet of Tugs on standby to come to you wherever you are in the world and we will tow your vessel back to our yard. We will get our surveyors and engineers to assess the damage, repair and get your vessel back in the water for you in no time.

Having access to a fleet of tugs this also means we can pull dumb barges for you wherever you wish them to go. Do you require your liveaboard to be taken out the water, shotblasted, anti-fouled and new anodes fitted and brought back to you?
