Accomodation
From the moment you step onboard this boat, to the moment you leave, you are going to love every minute. As you enter from the stern, there is a large bathing platform with a small ladder to the aft deck.
The aft deck has so much space that the owner decided to purchase a canopy that not only reaches from the front of the flybridge to the radar, but right the way back to the transom. This makes the boat a very sociable boat for entertaining guests in any climate.
This boat has a similar design to the Fairline Turbo 36. As you are on top of the aft cabin, there are only a couple of steps to the flybridge. The flybridge can seat 5 in comfort and has new upholstery stored awaiting fitting. The owner cruises most of the time at the flybridge and with the array of instruments available, I’m not surprised.
As you enter into the saloon, the first big impression I got was headroom. At 6’2 tall, not once did I have any contact with the ceiling. On the port side, there is very comfortable seating for 6 with a small cabinet to the starboard side. One of the main attractions for this boat is the number of hatches and windows that not only make this a very bright boat, but the opening hatches make this a very airy boat. The saloon and helm area has a total of 5 opening hatches plus the sliding door to get in.
The helm is situated high on the starboard side with perfect vision and full controls at your finger tips. Although you could probably sit 2 at the helm, it would be a lot more comfortable with 1. Again, there is ample headroom and a full bank of electronics.
To port, there is a galley with at least 10’ headroom. This is due to the galley being beneath the forward windows, allowing a massive room to prepare the essentials onboard. The galley has a 4 ring cooker, fridge, double stainless steel sink, and loads of cupboard space.
Slightly further forward is a small dinette area with over head lighting. This area will seat 4 in comfort and again has an opening hatch. It is here you will also find access to the instrumentation panel for the helm.
Moving on towards the bow, you will find on your port side a very large heads compartment. This is one of the largest heads compartments I have ever seen on a boat. Here you will find a toilet, sink and a shower. With this boat, you can use the shower like you would in your own home.
One other feature that makes this boat that extra special, is a double access to the heads. This makes the forward guest cabin almost en-suite.
The forward guest cabin has a double island berth with not only 6 small storage cabinets, but also 2 x full length hanging lockers and MORE storage under the berth. This cabin also has a large opening hatch making this a very bright cabin. This hatch also acts as a means of emergency escape.
Lastly, and by no means least is the aft cabin. Whenever I stood on the aft deck, I knew instantly that the aft cabin was going to be impressive. The aft cabin has a very large double island berth, possibly a queen or king sized berth. This cabin also boasts 10 cabinets, PLUS two full height wardrobes PLUS under berth storage.
To finish this off, the aft cabin is en-suite with a heads compartment large enough, that it currently holds all the boats fenders and still access to the toilet!!!
There is also 5 opening hatches in the aft cabin.
