Accomodation
The Corvette 32 has won the hearts of many designers, owners and magazine journalists for the innovative design onboard. Name any 32 foot boat that offers twin diesels, a flybridge and 4 berths in 2 ensuite cabins with a further double in the saloon if required.
This particular example offers full standing headroom and despite winter conditions outside all soft furnishings were dry and clean. As a broker, we view many boats at this time of year that are damp and have a musty stale odour throughout. This boat really is in turn key condition.
From bow to stern:-
The forward cabin has 2 single berths. Not a “V” berth…..single berths. These berths can be used by almost anyone onboard. There is also a heads compartment forward with a large hatch. This hatch offers not only a means of ventilation, but also a means of emergency escape.
As you move aft, you will find the helm position. This is situated on the port side with all the equipment you could ever require at your finger tips. There is a slot in chart table over the forward passage way making this a very easy boat for navigating on.
On the starboard side is the main entrance with a few steps on either side. This keeps the water whether it is from the rain or from a breaking wave outside of the saloon.
As you move aft again, you will find the galley and the saloon. The saloon is an “L” shaped settee which could easily seat 4 or 5 adults plus the captain’s chair at the helm. The galley has everything you could imagine, twin sinks, fridge, oven, 4 ring cooker, you name it its there.
The “L” shaped settee together with the main table, folds down to offer an extra double berth. As a result, there is curtains or blinds for all windows to give extra privacy and comfort onboard.
As you move aft, you will find the aft cabin. This is probably what made Corvette the boat it is today. This double aft cabin is ensuite and is so spacious; you could easily stay onboard for extended cruising. The aft berth is at a 45 degree angle and is a full sized double berth. The aft cabin has no less than 12 lockers and 2 opening hatches.
The ensuite facilities offer full headroom and the usual heads, shower and wash hand basin.
No matter which cabin you are in, this is a warm bright and airy boat throughout. As a broker we get to view boats of all shapes and sizes, only a few make it on to our wish list…….and this one is high if not top of the list.
