Engines

This unit is powered by a four cylinder water cooled diesel engine. At 63BHP @ 2000rpm she is able to produce enough energy to carry out a variety of tasks such as pile driving, grab and weed cutting buckets. Access to the engine is via panels fitted front and rear of the deck. The dredger has three stabilising legs fitted with pairs of large hollow drum wheels which provide both the stability and flotation. The full 3600 slew has an automatically braked slew motor.

Construction

This vessel has been designed for use throughout the world and is equally at home in warm tropical waters or working in or around the icy waters of Canada or Northern climates. Special features include:-

•Spacious Cab to ROPS and FOPS standards.
•Raked front screen to prevent glare from the water.
•Built in ventilator and split screen.
•Sliding window to the wide access door.
•Side window with rip pull for safety exit.
•Sprung seat with lumber support, for additional comfort on long working days.
•Seat adjustment for height, rake and weight of operator.
•Two speed fresh air fan and heater.

The hull has again been designed for maximum safety for the operator. The hull has a “Y” shaped internal configuration to provide four water tight compartments. These compartments can double up as dry storage compartments as access panels are fitted to each compartment.

Every detail has been though of over the last 30 years of construction down to the fitting of an outboard motor bracket for additional safety.
