Engines

This Fisher is powered by a single Volvo Penta MD3 producing 36hp. As you would expect from a boat of this design, fuel consumption is around 1/3 of a gallon per hour. The engine has been serviced on a regular basis with NEW injectors, NEW alternator and NEW starter. This engine starts first time, every time without a single puff of smoke!!

Accomodation

As you step onboard, the first impression that quickly sets in is the superb structural build quality. Everything onboard is solid….the handrails, stanchions, winches you name it….it’s solid. As you head aft, you will find a deep cockpit with plenty of storage underneath for lines and fenders. You also have here the mizzen mast and access to the wheelhouse.

As you enter the wheelhouse, you will find bright panoramic views including above thanks to the many hatches, windows and doors. The wheelhouse can seat 3 in comfort with all the electronics including GPS and Radar in clear view. The wheelhouse has many hatches including 3 that open which offers superb ventilation.

As you move forward you will find the main saloon, galley and forward cabin. The saloon is situated to port with plenty of access around the saloon table. To starboard, you will find not only a large chart table, but also a full size pilot berth. On the starboard side is also where you will find the galley. This includes sink, cool box, plenty of storage and a 2 ring gas cooker and grill. This again is a very bright area with 4 hatches and several overhead lights as well.

Both the wheelhouse and the saloon benefit from having surround sound stereo to make relaxing onboard that little bit easier. 

As you move forward, you will find the heads to port and a large storage locker to starboard. The heads compartment has a toilet, sink and a new water heater is being installed at present. Again there is an opening hatch for extra light and ventilation.

The large hanging locker to starboard has 2 shelves as well as space far hanging clothes or wet weather gear.

Finally, as you move forward you will find the forward cabin. There are many things about this cabin that I really admired. The classic round porthole windows, the opening hatches, the high quality finish and even where the heating vent is located. Everything is in the right place with the right finish. Simply perfect.
