Propulsion Units
The units are supplied for well type mounting and have mounting flange integral with the stem/steering gear casing. The units are to be mounted from below in to the cylindrical trunk. The units flanges are bolted to the ships structure and sealed with an o-ring. Upper gear box and steering gear box, intermediate stem section including
steering transmission and lower gear box with propeller and nozzle.

General
The accommodation is to be arranged and fitted out in accordance with the General Arrangement drawing. Captain and chief engineer each have large mirror image cabins forward on the main deck with private toilet/shower facilities. Also two double berth
cabins starboard side on the main deck with separate two toilet/shower facilities.
Forward below main deck are two four-berth cabins. Mess room and separate galley port side on the main deck. Accommodation is isolated from the main deck with floating floor and provided ventilation / air conditioning system with supply ducting to each space and return via door louvers and passageways.
A smoke detecting alarm system should be installed in accommodation of wheelhouse, crews room, mess room, engine room, propulsion room, etc. Full height windows fore and aft and chopped of exhaust casings
offer superb good all-round visibility from the raised wheelhouse and particularly of the winches.
Good quality locks with three labelled keys each are to be fitted to doors of all cabins, stores and other compartments throughout the accommodation. Three (3) master keys to be provided for all cabin doors.

Spooling gear
One disengageable spooling gear is fitted for the drum. The spooling gear is driven via a chain transmission by the rotating drum or manually by means of a wheel. The spooling carriage has staggered vertical and horizontal inductive heated rollers to allow rope eyes pass through. One of the horizontal rollers will be fouldable in order to allow the rope to be released from the spooling mechanism.

Remote control panel
The remote control panel is to be mounted in wheel house and equipped with the following for controlling of aft towing winch. The remote control panel of the aft towing winch also includes the power unit controls. Proportional joystick for controlling the motor in both directions from zero to maximum speed
Spooling gear
Two disengageable spooling gears are fitted for the drums. The spooling gears are driven via a chain transmission by the rotating drum or manually by means of a wheel. The spooling carriage has staggered vertical and horizontal inductive heated rollers to allow rope eyes pass through. One of the horizontal rollers will be foldable in order to allow the rope to be released from the spooling mechanism.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The forward towing winch / windlass and the aft towing winch are driven by an electro-hydraulic power unit of high pressure type. The hydraulic system is of open circuit type supplied by two variable displacement load sensing axial piston pumps.
Maximum pressure is 260 bar. In stand-by position the variable displacement pumps turn in zero displacement and minimum energy consumption is achieved, in addition temperature increase in the hydraulic oil is avoided.
The control valves are proportional and controls the displacement of pump according to the system demand. In this way the speed of the winches are controlled from zero to maximum. Capacity of the power unit is rated to operate one towing winch with full power. Control of each winch is selected from the control panels of the winches on
the wheel house.
