MAIN ENGINES:
This vessel has a 16 cylinder GM fitted with a power output of 480BHP The 16-V-71 engine has served her owner well. Producing 353kW @1800rpm and with her propellers fitted with Kort nozzle, you know that she respond to your every move through her 3 x balanced rudders.

The Reintjes WAV 400 gearbox has a 5:1 reduction.

The gen set is a Petter diesel engine with 7,5BHP @1500rpm with a 7,5kVa 220V Markon generator.

Construction

When this vessel was constructed it reflected the pride of the workforce. She may have been built in 1976 but she has still a minimum hull thickness of 8,7mm. Tested in 2001 for Bureau Veritas she had :

Hull Ultrasonic report: Bureau Veritas at 19 december 2001
Bottom minimum 9,5 mm;
Bottom aft minimum 8,7 mm;
Hull minimum 9,3 mm.

Accomodation

This tug has full liveaboard facilities in her forward cabin. The cabin has a sink, table and two bunks. The heads is in a separate compartment.
