Built in aluminium to keep the vessel light yet robust and designed by a Naval Architect renowned for his ability to design Landing Craft for use in fish farms. Designed to be fully coded to MCA Cat2 of the workboat code of practice. This vessel is an ideal workhorse and is ideal for use in fish farms or for general use as a workboat. Her 8m crane is ideal for loading and unloading at the quayside. Carrying 31.5 Ton and only burning 3.5 gallons an hour this craft is economic to run for most operations. This landing craft was originally designed with Twin 160 HP Daewoo engines and the Architect can design it to be used with Cummins or Caterpillar or any other named engine of your choice. By design the engines have keel coolers and dry exhausts.

Construction

These Landing Craft are Manufactured in the United Kingdom of Marine Grade aluminium. The construction of each is vessel is down to discussions between the yard and YOU. In order to find the right boat and the right specification to comply with the latest rules and regulations from the Classification Society for you, a fee of around £3,000 will be charged for the preparation of calculations and drawings. This fee will be refunded if you decide to go ahead with the Manufacture of the vessel.

The yard will work out all the necessary calculations and prepare the drawing and will have the drawings endorsed BEFORE there is one piece of construction carried out. That way you know that when your boat is built exactly what you are getting for your money and that it will have the necessary Class approval for your project. The final fee will include:-

•designing fee
•drawing approval fee charged by classification society
•fee for classing the ship with classification society
•fee of classification survey
•cost of building and material
•cost of furnishing and fitting of equipments on board
•cost of sea trial, de-bug & testing
•cost of use of shipyard spaces and facilities
•building insurance premium

•fee of obtaining class and trading certificates
•short-term training provided to the buyer’s crews before delivery

Prices for these vessels start at just £395,000 and will be tailored to suit you. This is the start of the design and we can work on whether or not it is for the base unit or for our units up to £600,000. The price is dependent on YOUR requirements and YOUR specification designed and built to comply with the Classification that is required for YOU.
