10648DWT General Cargo Ship

WRIGHT INTERNATIONAL LTD has recently taken a pro-active approach in working within the cargo industry. This has resulted in a phenomenal success that has led to the introduction to many key owners and operators in the marine industry. As an example of what we can offer is this 10648 DWT General Cargo Ship direct from owner. This ship is in high demand as there are not many geared, double-skinned, single decked, ice class ships of this size available, on the open market.

If you are looking for a vessel that is ready to sail and working at present then you could do well have to have a full look at this specification. This vessel is powered by the Deutz BV 16M540 engine which is rated at 6472 kW (8680 BHP) and even though it is 10000 Tonnes, it will still do 9.5 knots. To assist with the manoeuvrability it has a bow thruster with a 600 kW rating, to assist in close quarter manoeuvres.

There are lots of General cargo vessels for sale at present but very few that are geared. This vessel has FOUR cranes, two of which are rated 25 Tonnes and the other two 16 Tonnes. The three holds have watertight Macgregor hatches allowing the owner to carry product such as grain and other water sensitive product. The gear and the covers are in excellent condition.

This vessel is now getting serious attention but is still on the open market. Wright International Ltd is open for business every day of the year and we can put you in contact with the owner simply by contacting either Robert or Greig or any of our offices worldwide. At over 10,000 Tonnes and geared and with watertight hatches this is one opportunity you can not afford to miss.
