Engines

This ship is powered by a 1400hp Matsui MA28G-SC-33 engine which has been restricted to 1000hp at 330rpm. This engine gives a cruising speed of around 10 knots and has proved to be very economical making this a vital investment for winning contracts.

There is also a Yanmar 6HAL-HTN auxiliary engine producing approximately 270hp and providing 220kva throughout the ship. The Fuji 500kva generator is onboard to operate the sand suction pump. There is finally an Airman SDG220S generator providing again 220kva throughout the ship.

Construction

This dredger was launched in October 1994 and has proved to be a very versatile ship. This ship can win contracts for not only grab and suction dredging contracts, but this ship also has the capabilities to operate as a cargo ship. The cargo hold currently measures 14.3m x 8.4m x 3.42m giving a total area of approximately 410m3. This is currently offering in the region of 656 tons cargo capacity but this can be increased to 768 tons if required.

Decking Equipment

This dredger is equipped with a Toyo 16” sand suction unit that can dredger up to 1800m3 per hour to a depth of 55m.

Onboard, there is also a SKK-200GDA crane that is powered by a Mitsubishi S6A2MPT. This crane has a 20m boom length that can lift 9 tons in the 2.7m3 grab supplied. The grab unit can dredger to a maximum of 30m.

As part of the sale, this dredger will also come complete with a spare propeller, grab bucket and wood hatch covers with steel beam and covering sheet making this ship ready to work on day 1.
