This dredger has been well maintained and serviced regularly to provide an extremely reliable and efficient track record. The pontoon unit itself was completely sand blasted, renovated and re-painted in 2004. The wheelhouse itself was replaced recently and is in excellent condition.

This dredger is a very stable platform with extra pontoons to either side; however these pontoons are removable allowing for easier transportation by road or through canal lock gates etc.

This dredger operated with a 10 inch suction pipe that can dredge approximately 18 meters, with a discharge in the region of 100m.

There are also 4 new electric winches installed as part of the continued maintenance program. These winches have approximately 70m of steel cable each for both lowering and raising the suction pipe.
