MAIN ENGINE
Engine choice is critical to length of time to build the NEW BUILD vessels, with some manufacturers now taking up to one year to deliver an engine. That is why this yard has decided to use as standard the ever reliable and readily available Perkins Sabre M185C engine which delivers 140kW or 190 BHP.
As the yard will work with you to allow you to design in some features to suit you, the customer, that means they will also consider the other normal engines such as Iveco, Perkins, Caterpillar and most other makes. There is also a close relationship between speed and fuel consumption and they have therefore left YOU to decide on the power output from the 190BHP up to the design max of 430BHP.

Wright International Ltd is pleased to continue its range of NEW BUILD vessels with this GRP Pot Hauler. Manufactured in the United Kingdom and built to Lloyds accreditation, this vessel has been designed by fishermen for fishermen. The main reason Wright International Ltd is so pleased to be able to offer it direct from the yard is the skill and expertise that goes into every one of their boats.
The scantlings are at just 510mm and they have a longitudinal rib moulded beneath the deck to give an incredible strength throughout the vessel. The lay-ups are all hand laid throughout the construction with isophtalic gel coat and polyester resin finish.
All GRP components are glued and assembled together with marine grade structural adhesive methacrylate the four bulkheads are each 25mm thick having been moulded to the hull and deck the entire hull and bulkheads are once again internally flow coated resulting in a exceptionally strong impregnable waterproof sealed vessel throughout.
MOULDINGS
Take a look at the photograph and you will see the yard is proud to take close ups to show the mouldings to be professionally built. The Wheelhouse, Gunwhales, Cabin , Separate W.C, and Galley are all faultlessly moulded as is the very strong & robust, 60mm thick end grain balsa & fibre glass laminated deck.
This vessel has been designed to combine safety, economy and comfort in an effort to make the life of the Pot Hauler that more tolerable. At just 10,6m she still has all the features you would expect to only find on much larger boats. Take the features as you would like to find them:-
WHEELHOUSE
Modern, elegant, tough, safe and designed to take on the elements. Fully moulded and insulated. Three forward facing 10mm thick laminated safety windows with wipers.
For safety and comfort the Skipper has his own seat. Everything has been ergonomically designed to be where you the fisherman asked it to be and the Skippers console has been fully moulded to take cognisance of the instrumentation and switches being used.
There is seating for all the crew with 4/5 comfortable soft warm furnishings, in a “L” shape configuration.
