Wright International Ltd is able to work with you to build these fast assault RIBS in Aluminium to provide 10 men with the ability to travel at up to 55knots. Take a look at the specification and you will see why the military have accepted their quality of build to deliver the troops they need to rely on to get where they are going and when they need them. These RIBS are not toys they are designed and built for rugged and durable usage and although you can buy a RIB of the same size for less, it will not deliver you the integral design that these assault Ribs can. Wright International Ltd can assist you with up to 70% funding for the purchase of them if required. Wright International Ltd can also work with our yard to deliver these vessels anywhere in the world after they have been tested at the yard, for you as part of the service. Engines

MAIN ENGINE

The advantage of being the manufacturer is that we can design and build to suit you. the example we have is exactly that- and example has Twin VOLVO 280HP inboard diesel engines, directly coupled to MERCURY BRAVO 1 heavy duty outdrives, with twin contra-rotating propellers. Engines enclosed in aft engine space, with access hatches.

This will provide the vessels with Speed of approximately 55 knots with 10 men on board.

They come with a variety of powering and propulsion options.

Twin outboard motors, two stroke or four stroke.
A single 300HP YANMAR diesel,
or twin VOLVO 280HP diesels,

all driving outdrives each with twin contra-rotating propellers. …

or

they can be fitted with water jets, ideal for close inshore work and in very shallow water.

Prices vary as a result and we can deliver exactly what you want for what you want to use it for.

Construction

These RIBS come in a choice of two types of materials. They are usually built in aluminium or they can be built in FRP if you wish.

Hull Aluminium in heavy duty Marine Grade aluminium painted out in either matt or gloss black finish and 18mm marine plywood floor, finished in non-slip coating.

Or

Hull FRP moulding in heavy duty black epoxy laminates with twin longitudinal bearers and 18mm marine plywood floor, encapsulated in FRP, finished in non-slip coating.

Tubes in five sections, 20” diameter, in black, with `D` section all round fender and tube top reinforcing. Pressure relief valves fitted to all tube sections.

Centre control consol with integral side by side seat for pilot and navigator, with hinged cushions to access under-seat locker storage space. Seat mouldings in black carbon fibre finish. Two four man seat pods, side by side aft of consol seats, with hinged cushion to access locker storage space, with stainless steel back rests.
All seat positions provided with foot stirrup straps bonded to the floor.
Twin elephants trunk self draining tubes fitted.

Under-floor stainless steel fuel tank, 250l. capacity.

• Heavy duty lifting eyes fitted to facilitate craning into and from the water.
•Stainless steel `A` frame mast fitted to carry navigation lights and communications aerials and search light.
•Stainless steel bow eye and mooring cleat.
•Six grab handles doubling as extra mooring cleats.
•External and internal life lines fitted.

•VHF radio telephone fitted.
•GPS fitted.
•Steering compass fitted.

•Small DANFORTH type anchor fitted with 5m chain and 35m braided anchor warp, stowed in under-floor locker, forward.
