Engines

This vessel is fitted with the long stroke Mack 8M 453 AK engine with a 1999 BHP output.
The power is transmitted down to her single propeller. It can still achieve 10 knots fully loaded and has a consumption of 5.6 Tonnes / 24 Hours. If it is running with ballast only it does 11 knots and still burns just 5.6 Tonnes / 24 Hours.

Construction

Being built in Hamburg in Germany, this vessel was designed to last and her double skinned hold is testimony to that. No expense was spared in constructing a vessel that would continue to service the world’s ports with her cargoes for her proud owners.

She has a single hold of 140,000 cbft and has a steel floor and a free height 7,68m.

The hatch is 50,4 x 10,2m

Tank top load is 6,5 ts /m2

Hatch covers 1,62 ts /m2

Accomodation

Although this vessel is not designed for long distance travel that did not stop her designers and Manufacturer providing comfortable living quarters for all her crew and not just her Skipper. The galley, showers, heads and living quarters are a credit to her present owners.

Being updated to keep her in Class she has full modern electronics and alarm systems throughout the ship
