It is refreshing to know that there are still Naval Architects and Manufacturers out there that can still produce quality twin screw shaft drive in Kort nozzles. Even more so when they take the time to work out where they are likely to sail and provide the best solution for those areas. That is why this ship was designed and built with quality and performance in mind.

Powered by twin Cummins KTA38-M2 engines each producing 1200 BHP @1800rpm through the Reintes 5.95:1 reduction gear boxes down through the shafts to her 2000mm Dia fixed pitch propellers in nozzles.

GEN SETS

It is important to have your Gen Sets as reliable as your engines if you are taking on longer voyages and that is why after serious consideration the designers settled with probably the best Gen Sets available for this boat.

2 x Perkins 1006TG2AM with a rating of 80kW/380V/50Hz and again the Gen Sets can be serviced in almost any port in the world.
