When a boat is fully coded it is a sign that the vessel is in good working order as the rules are so strict. Now imagine a boat that is not only fully coded until 2010 but is also only just over 1 year old. Everything being new is a bonus and not usual in this size of vessel. For instance access to the engines is from the wheelhouse. You go down into the first store compartment and through one of the four watertight compartments. The whole boat is excellent condition and working on the engines is not a problem as a result.
That means her twin Perkins Phaser 125BHP engines and the Borg-Warner 2:1 reduction gearboxes are still like new. Being shaft driven allows for easy maintenance. Although there are no drives at the fore end of the engines there is plenty of room to have these fitted if required.
Engine hours: around 1000 hrs each.
Being fully coded also means there is a CO2 sprinkler system in each engine room in case of emergency.
The batteries provide the power to the 12 volt electrical system.
The steering is Wagner hand hydraulic system allowing her to be extremely manoeuvrable as anyone ever handling one of these cats will confirm.

This vessel is an all steel hull with an aluminium wheelhouse construction. Coded to MCA for 12+2 and is in class until 2010.
HULL: The hull is built of single hard chine construction with a raked stem and transom stern. The scantlings are at 500mm centres with additional longitudinal girders and stringers.

WATERTIGHT COMPARTMENTS
Each hull has three watertight bulkheads making each hull have four watertight compartments. The slightly raised fore deck has another watertight bulkhead fitted transverse.
The vessel is fitted with steel bulwarks port, starboard and at the transom.
The aluminium wheelhouse has been very well designed and fitted out to allow the skipper to keep an eye on what is going on aft of the wheelhouse. The wheelhouse is laid out with the consul and wheel on the starboard side and seating on the port side.
The aft deck has approximately 24 square metres of clear deck space. The present owner has opted to have seating all round the aft deck, with an electrically operated dive hoist on the transom. This hoist can be removed if you do not intend to use it for diving.
