Engines

This dredger is powered by a single Lister Blackstone Etsl 6 diesel engine producing approximately 657hp. This gives a cruising speed of around 8 knots. There are also 2 gen sets onboard providing 415v / 240v ac @ 50hz.

Construction

This dredger has recently been used for dredging, salvage work and wreck removal operations. With a hopper capacity of 328m3 and 511 tonnes, this has proved to be a very successful asset.

The dredger has a loading rate of 2.5 hours maximum for heavy spoil and has an impressive discharge of only 2 minutes.
