Coastal Tug

Wright International Ltd has been asked to sell this small coastal tug and it comes complete with certification up to 2010. This size of tug would make an ideal conversation to a liveaboard. However, we have to stress this is a fully operational tug that was built in 1982 was fully rebuilt in 2005 and has everything in good working condition. If you are looking for a small tug then this is one option for you to consider. Its 500 BHP engine has been reduced to just 299 BHP in order to keep manning levels down, but can be reinstated as this is a NEW engine and is more effective at full power rating. This vessel can have a crew of up to 12 persons and has all necessary safety equipment for this number of crew. The electronics were replaced with the latest state of the art as part of the rebuild in 2005. At just 21m long it fits well within the 24m rule and would therefore be suited to near coastal work or harbour work. MAIN ENGINE

When the owners decided to rebuild it in 2005, they meant rebuild it. It has a NEW SKL Veb Shwermaschinenbau RDG 1-6VD 18/15A engine and it is rated at 500 BHP restricted to 220Kw or 299BHP, for manning purposes. Needless to say as it is only just over one year old it is in excellent condition.

Construction

This vessel was built to last and it has had money thrown at it to rebuilt it to full Class status and to ensure it is ready to work when needed for the owner. Class is R.N.A Coastal Navigation up to 6Nm + Danube inland waters.
