Engines

This 35m Ex Fleet Tender is powered by a single Lister Blackstone ERS8 producing approximately 660hp @ only 750rpm. These engines are practically indestructible, with many of these engines being stripped down and rebuilt time after time and still in service decades after they were installed.

The indestructibility and economic cruising makes these engines the preferred engines for those who know the importance of reliability.

Construction

This vessel was converted in 1997 to a fully operational salvage and dive vessel. The conversion work included the installation of a 20 ton twin wire derrick onboard. This was carefully designed and installed to take full advantage of the 10 ton bow roller onboard. The winch is equipped with 2 x 500m of 24mm crane wire.

All work and conversions were undertaken to Lloyd’s classification and is currently in Lloyds A100 LMC classification. Onboard you will also find a 6 point mooring system that can be operated to 200m, and a cargo hold of 200 tons as well.

With the last fleet tender we had, we had customers from all walks of life consider the boat with ideas including turning the hold into a classroom with a glass coachroof, to extra accommodation and even had a customer consider the boat for super yacht conversions and storing quality cars, motor bikes or sports boats under cover.

One of the many attractions to be found in a fleet tender is the large amount of accommodation onboard. At present, there are 16 berths in 6 cabins with more space onboard to convert if required.

With 2 shower and wash rooms and 2 toilets onboard, your crew will always be able to gain access when required. There are also 2 mess rooms to help your crew relax while at sea working under pressure.

Decking Equipment

As this ex fleet tender has been used as a salvage vessel, you will find a full dive spread onboard including HP and LP compressors, air tanks and a surface gas control panel and system.
