Petrel Pusher Tug

Wright International Ltd has the opportunity to offer this pusher tug for sale direct from owner. These little pusher tugs were designed and built for British Waterways by Jones of Brentford. This is one of the vessels that is still working and in good condition and was used to move barges and pontoons. It has an 8mm thick hull and deck with a GRP wheelhouse and engine cover. Although these vessels were less than 6m in length they were still remarkably well built with the luxury of a diesel fired heater in the wheelhouse. It has manual bilge pumps and a Lister Blackstone HR2 air cooled engine to supply the power. If you would like to own a part of British heritage then this would be an excellent investment, as they are getting fewer good vessels around as time goes by.
