Engines

This vessel is powered by the 8 cylinder BMV KRM 8 engine. The power is transmitted through the Ulstei 6000 AGSC reduction gearbox through the shaft to the controllable pitch propeller.

This vessel has two main generators and for reliably and ease of spares the manufacturers chose to use Scania.

There is also a tunnel thrusters for close quarter manoeuvring which is a major asset for a single propelled vessel.
