10m Prawn Trawler

Wright International Ltd latest listing is a superb Fishing Vessel whish is under 10m and is being sold with licence. This would allow you to break into the industry or expand your existing fleet and quota with this 2001 Macduff designed trawler. Take a look at the detailed spec and you will see it is fully loaded and ready to go. It is powered by the 200BHP Volvo 103A engine which was completely overhauled in 2006. When the present owner wanted a boat he chose to use a Macduff design for seaworthiness and Smith Maritime to build it to his specification. Take a look at the electronics and deck equipment and you will see that no expense was spared in getting the ideal boat for the purpose it was intended. Now is your chance to take advantage of this knowledge and get a vessel fully fitted out and ready to go including licence for under £200k. Engines

MAIN ENGINE

When the owner designed and built the boat to do what he wanted he was conscious that the biggest decision was to choose the correct engine for the job. He was looking for reliability, power and of course economy. After due deliberation there was only one choice he could make and that was of course to choose Volvo. In fact to be more precise the Volvo 103A rated at 200 BHP and only burns 18 Ltrs per hour. The power is transmitted down through the shaft to a single propeller.

As you can see it is in amazingly good condition for a vessel built in 2001. That is because it was fully overhauled in 2006. So now it not only looks like new, it is like new.

Designed by Macduff shipyard and profiled by them for assembly at Smith Maitime, to produce a 10m vessel to be proud of. This type of vessel is not only popular in Scotland where they are made but also throughout the world as they are sold on to other fishermen.

The design is well tested in some of the roughest waters that this size of vessel will ever encounter and has proved itself well.
