MAIN ENGINES

If you are working your vessels around the world you have to be sure that you can get spares and servicing for your boat when you call into the next port. That is why this vessel is fitted out with one of the most prolific Manufacturers in the world and one known for its reliability and ease of obtaining spares. Fitted with two Cummins QSK60-M engines, each producing 2,200BHP at 1800 rpm. Each 60.2 Litre V-16 cylinder engine is turbocharged to provide the power you need when you need it. The power is transmitted through a shaft to the Rolls Royce Aquamaster US 205 MK2 ASD Propellers. This combination will provide around 60 TBP going forward.

GEN SETS
When the Manufacturer wanted to find the most reliable Gen Sets they did not take long before they chose to use the ever reliable Perkins PPM-145S Gen Sets. Each of the three units provides 116 kW /400V/50Hz/3 Phase.

BOW THRUSTER
The Composite Tunnel Thruster CT720 fitted to this vessel allows it to maneuver in close quarter like no other vessel. Twin ASD at the stern and CT720 at the bow and Captain has complete control of the boat.

This Ocean going Tug has the capability of allowing her 14 man crew to enjoy a stand of accommodation to be proud of. Again fitted out to the state of art throughout the ship the crew will have:-
