This 60 passenger boat was completely refurbished internally in 2005 and even had a new Thorneycroft 2.5 litre, 58hp T155 diesel engine with a PRM 260D fitted at the same time. This keel cooled power unit has only 450 hours on the clock from new. As part of the refurbishments, a new calorifier was also fitted at the same time, as were 3 new leisure batteries and a starter battery.
For extra manoeuvrability, you will also find a powerful bow-thruster is fitted, with separate batteries in the anchor locker.

Even when you factored in 80kg per person, this boat still passed with ease and was awarded a 60 passenger certificate.
The current MCA Passenger Certificate runs until October 2009. The last out of water MCA inspection was October 2006, with the last in water MCA inspection being in March 2007 with no defects reported.
The current MCA crew requirements are skipper and one for up to 50 passengers day or night; or skipper plus two for 51 to 60 passengers.
