Engines

It is one thing to have the stunning looks of a performance boat, but this means nothing without having the power and speed to back it up. This is no sheep in wolves clothing. You only have to fire up the twin Sterling Performance 653 cubic inch motors and realise you are onboard a very special and true high performance sports cruiser.

The engine compartment itself is like a work of art. The engines are almost as staggeringly impressive to look at as they are to run. With the blue powder coated diamond plating throughout the engine bay, the engines really have the appearance of a true legendary sports boat.

These engines produce 1050hp @ 5600rpm. This power is delivered through tappet cam dry sumped super charged motors. As these engines are performance engines, they are running on 93 octane fuel with an MSD ignition system. The engines are also supplied with 4 x Holy Dominators carburettors and BDS blowers.

This power is then fed through 2 x Mercury SMV dry sumped drives at a ratio of 1:35. The transmissions onboard are Bam super cyborg dry sumped transmissions with custom made drive shafts by none other than Dynotech themselves.

Every component onboard is branded with the industry leading specialists including O-Berg filters, Petterson oil tanks and CMI big tube headers. The props onboard are Herring 5 blade 35 x 17 props and offer excellent grip in the water at both high and low speed.

In order for these engines to perform to there true potential when required, there are also 2 x large Marine Machine competition sea strainers and 2 smaller ones for the intercoolers onboard.

There are also 4 batteries onboard. 2 of these batteries are deep cycle batteries for general accessories and electronics etc, whilst 2 are high cranking batteries dedicated to the engines. There is a 20amp battery charger onboard to help keep the batteries topped up at all times.

All the hosing is braided and in Anodized Aeroquipe hosing at a cost of over $4,000 USD.

Accomodation

It is not just the engine that has benefited from a dedicated perfectionist; the whole boat has been designed, built and maintained like a true work of art.

The seats in the main cockpit are all custom made by Nor-Tech. For extra comfort at speed, you have 2 bucket seats at the helm and four individual seats for your guests.

The helm looks more like the helm of an aeroplane than of a boat, with every gauge installed to ensure you always know what the boat and engines are doing. There are a total of 21 Livorsi gauges onboard as well as Livorsi throttles and a Momo steering wheel.

The dash is made of carbon fibre for a mixture of stylish appearance, strength but also for its light weight.

Down below, you will find a queen size berth as well as a full heads compartment. The heads compartment has everything you need for that weekend retreat including a shower, toilet, sink and mirror etc. The accommodation down below has not only air-conditioning but also heating if required.

Decking Equipment

This 2004 Nor-Tech 5000 Super Cat is available with a custom goose-neck triple axel Manning Marine trailer, with a 300 gallon fresh water flush tank installed.

Navigation Equipment

The navigation and communication equipment onboard includes a Garmin 2010 GPS system and an ICOM ship to shore radio. As this boat was designed for poker runs, there is a Tiger performance 6 person intercom system allowing you and your guests to communicate with each other regardless of the speed and conditions.

There is also a custom made stereo system onboard with JL audio amps, 2 x JL audio 10” subs and 10 x MB Quart 6” speakers.
