This specific boats design is based on the same design used by the US Forces in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The boat is able to operate with waters as shallow as 6 inch under the keel, can perform 360 degree spins at speed, can go from speeds in excess of 30 knots to a full stop in an instance and can also operate in contaminated waters due to its keel cooling system. This is a very versatile and highly manoeuvrable boat that is as impressive in shallow water as it is in rough waters.

Engines

This boat is powered by twin Cummins 5.9 litre, in line 6 cylinder, 4 stroke turbo charged diesels producing a staggering 210hp each at 2600rpm. These engines are fitted with Elbe drive shafts, ZF220PL transmissions and Ultra Dynamics 305 jet drives.

As these boats are often used in waters as shallow as 6 inch below the keel, the engines are keel cooled using Dura Cooler keel cooling system. The power, speed and manoeuvrability of this boat are unbelievable. You have in the region of 4500lbs of forward thrust, and 2200lbs of reverse thrust. This boat can go from full throttle to full stop in an instant.

As the boats are jet driven, this allows you to navigate through ropes, weed and divers etc without having to worry about any damage or accidents.
