This ship was re-assigned into Bureau Veritas and as such can be used practically anywhere in the world. When you are operating to contracts with strict deadline and high penalty clauses, it is essential that you have reliable and economical engines. As such, this boat is powered by twin in line six cylinder, turbo-charged Cummins diesel engines type KT-1150-M connected via clutches, flexible couplings and single reduction gearing to twin Aqua Master directional solid propellers type LB 5.00 turning at 426 rpm. This gives a fully loaded service speed of approximately 8 knots.

The ship is also equipped with a Lister auxiliary diesel generator and of course can produce power from the main engines as well.
