Powered by the ever reliable Cummins KTA38 M2, this vessel has a choice of triple or twin 1350 BHP (1007kW) engines delivering the power through the 2.53:1 gearboxes down the shafts to the twin four bladed fixed pitch nickel aluminium bronze propellers.

This modern state of the art vessel has seating for 70 persons for the offshore personnel to travel in comfort to their destination. The choice on number of engines giving an option on how fast that is too be. The vessel has toilets on board for their convenience and has a walkround deck allowing the passengers to stretch their legs. Being a Crew Boat it is also important to have the facility to carry cargo on the aft deck. That is why the designers of this vessel allowed a clear 13,4m x 6m giving 80 sq meters of space to carry the 40 Tonnes capacity. MAIN ENGINES
If you are in the market for a FAST CREW BOAT then you will have seen the Internet has lots to choose from. Some will give you speed some will give you cargo and some like the aluminium boats will promise you everything so long as there are no waves to stop you. So what if you wish to work offshore up to 200 mile from safe haven then you have to have a reliable set of engines to deliver your passengers safely to their destination.

That is why the designers of this vessel allow YOU to choose from either TWO engines as normal or as shown THREE engines delivering a wide range of fuel economy and speed options. You can run on one, two or all three engines depending on your desire for power or speed. The choice of engines is open to discussion but the yard has selected for this vessel the heavy duty, high speed marine diesel Cummins KTA38M2 watercooled, fuel injected, single acting four stroke turbo charged engines.

The 12 cylinders with their 159mm bore x 159mm stroke deliver 1350 BHP (1007kw) each at 1950 rpm. The power is transmitted down through the 2,53:1 reduction gearboxes to the Aquamet steel shafts to the four bladed fixed pitch nickel aluminium bronze propellers.

GENERATORS
Again working in conjunction with the yard you can have either TWO or THREE Generators. They will be high speed marine diesel in line engines that are heat exchanger cooled fuel injected and 24V electric started.

1 x Harbour Generator of high speed marine diesel engine, in-line, heat

Fuel Oil Purifier
1 x self-cleaning fuel oil purifier is to be installed with suction from the
settling tank and discharge to the daily service tanks. Sludge and water from the purifier is to be led into the sludge tank in the double bottom.

Bow Thruster
One unit bow Thruster of electric motor drive shall be fitted onboard vessel. The Thruster shall be of Thruster tunnel type with approximately 700 kgs thrust. The Thruster shall be control with independent frequency converter (6 puls) to regulate the speed of the propellers.

Dispersant system
2 x oil dispersant spray booms each with sufficient spray nozzles shall be suitably stowed on the port and starboard side of vessel. The system shall have suitable agitation boards and adaptable dispersant / water mixer. The dispersant tank shall be permanently piped to an eductor proportioned with non return valve to spray boom.

Capacity of each nozzle shall be 125 litre/min at 5 kg/cm2 for oil dispersant liquid / sea water. The sea water pump shall be vertical, centrifugal, non-self priming, electric driven of capacity 82 litres/min and capable of driving an eductor system.

FLAG OF REGISTRY
The vessel shall be registered in Malaysia, and shall comply with all the Marine Department Authority’s maritime regulations. The Owner shall arrange and pay for all fees incurred for the registration of the vessel. The builder shall be responsible to comply with the Marine Department Authority’s requirements such as operational, inspection and maintenance requirements applicable to operating such crafts.

HULL AND SUPERSTRUCTURES
The hull shall be built with seven (7) watertight bulkheads dividing into eight (8) watertight compartments: -

Construction Materials
All plating and profiles for the hull & superstructure shall be of all welded Aluminium Alloy construction (Class tested marine grade seawater resistance type).

Plating - 5083H321 or 5083H116
Profiles - 6061T6 or 6082T6

Profiles shall be of extruded T or L-type or similar with optimized scantlings as Approved by Classed.

DECK COVERINGS, LININGS AND CEILINGS
The arrangement and material for ceilings, deck coverings, insulation, bulkheads and linings shall be in accordance to the structural fire protection plan as required by Marine Department Authority or to SOLAS for Non-Convention Ship as applicable.

The clear room height (personnel aisles and open areas) shall be at least 2.0m excluding any protrusion such as light fittings, etc. Much attention shall be given to noise reduction in personnel saloon for comfort.

Deck Coverings
•Good quality vinyl suitable for marine application (Forbes or equal) – all internal offshore personnel space and wheelhouse.
•Non-skid vinyl tiles - all washrooms.

When Wright International Ltd considered the specification for this vessel they were amazed at the level of finish that has gone into thee production of these 34m FAST CREW BOATS that carry 70 Passengers and up to 10 of a Crew. These boats may have been designed and built in Malaysia but they are finished to a European standard to be proud of.

LAYOUT
The Layout of each vessel is again subject to confirmation with the “Buyer” and the yard to get from the vessel what was intended for your application. The vessel in the GA has as a Layout:-

•Chair - shall be upholstered of fixed low back.
•Curtain - shall be of good quality material c/w rails for all windows.
