1200T Dumb Barge

Wright International Ltd can present this very useful dumb barge direct from owner. Now fully shot blasted and refurbished this vessel fitted with McGregor hatches making it ideal for the transportation of grain, bio fuels, cement, gypsum, steels etc. In fact whatever you wish to convey this 1200 T DUMB BARGE is waiting on you. This is not a river barge this is full blown sea barge and can keep its cargo dry when at sea. Manufactured in 1983 in England it was fully rebuilt in 2002.

The vessel was last surveyed in July 2007 and was found to be in good condition. The double bottomed single hold vessel is able to be viewed for yourself and then you will see the quality that has been built into this vessel. All you have to do is contact either Greig or Robert and leave the rest to Wright International Ltd.

Construction

This vessel was manufactured in England when ships were ships built to last. That is why this vessel has a double bottom. Designed and built to be Sea Going and not just a river barge. With a Sea going capacity of 1200 Tonnes or River capacity of 1400 Tonnes.

Take a look at the photographs and you will see that this vessel has MacGregor hatches that are operated by there own Lister St2 air cooled engine. The Hold and the hatches were shot blasted and painted in March 2007.
