MAIN ENGINE
With the global shortage of reputable engines NEW BUILD vessels are coming on stream with engines you have never heard of. It is therefore with great satisfaction we can tell you that this vessel is fitted with two superb engines. The twin Mitsubishi S12R-MPTK diesel engines are rated at 1413PS at 1650rpm. The V-12 engines have 150mm bore x 160 stroke cylinders producing the power to the twin disc MG 5506 Gearboxes with their 6:1 reduction. The power is then sent down the shafts to the 2 x 4 manganese Bronze Kaplan Fixed Pitch Blades in Kort nozzles.

This allows a free running speed of around 10 Knots.
