Engines

This 18.2m Freezer Factory Ship is powered by twin 230hp 6 cylinder Cummins Diesels. These engines are coupled to Twin Disk gearboxes driving conventional shafts. This combination gives a cruising speed of around 8 knots and with a fuel capacity of 8000 litres; you will be cruising for days on end before even seeing the needle drop.

Onboard you will also find a 104kva 6 cylinder Perkins diesel generator.

Construction

One of the most important elements of a factory ships design is the stability. These ships can spend a great deal of time at sea and exposed to the elements. This boat has the perfect design at 18.2m on a trimaran hull and has a GT of 52.89.
