Engines

This passenger boat has been designed to make long distance passages on the 1000hp 3412 Caterpillar diesel engine. However, when it comes to short distance runs, manoeuvrability you can at the touch of a button switch to cruising with twin 800hp 3408 Caterpillar turbo charged diesels. For high speed bursts, you can of course use all 3 and feel the power of 2600hp at your finger tips.

All engines were overhauled in 2007 before placing the boat on the market. Onboard you will also find a 30kw Detroit Generator to provide you with all the power you required for the electrical systems onboard.

Accomodation

The accommodation onboard this boat is the main feature that separates this boat from all others on the market today. We do not know where you can find a 150 passenger boat, fully coded and certificated, that is powered by triple Caterpillar engines to the tune of 2600hp and has accommodation for 46 for only $850,000.

The main cabin area is fully air-conditioned with no less than nine dinning tables and soft, comfortable seating. This cabin has an intercom system, TV’s and stereo system. This could easily be the dive class room as you head out to your next dive location.

The guest accommodation comprises of 11 cabins ranging from 2 to 6 berths, giving 40 berths in total. There is a further 6 crew berths aft of the wheelhouse. Onboard are also 2 heads compartments in the main deck and a further heads in the wheelhouse.

The galley onboard allows you to prepare essential meals for you and your guests. It is equipped with all commercial electric appliances including a microwave, grill with vented hood, top load beverage cooler, full size upright reefer/freezer, top load freezer, small reefer, sink, coffeemaker and even a toaster.

The outer deck and upper deck by far makes this the best whale watching and sight seeing passenger boat available today. There is plenty of deck space for guests to distribute themselves evenly, but there is also a large pulpit and a stern overhang adding an additional 5 feet to her over all length. There is bench type seating all around the perimeter of the outside main deck and perimeter seating on the upper deck as well. Located on the upper deck is an after steering station for docking and backing down into tight quarters. The upper deck is accessed from a stairway aft as well as an emergency ladder forward into the wheel house through a hatch.

Entry into the wheelhouse itself is through doors on either side of the wheelhouse over the bridge wings.
