There can be no more memorable childhood memories than sailing on one of these elegant vessels at the seaside or in some Lake or Scottish Loch. The pride and professionalism of the present owner allows you to use this vessel to represent your company safe in the knowledge that not only is mechanically sound, legally sound but also one of the most respected vessels operating in the south coast of England today.
The accommodation is broken down into the different locations throughout the vessel.
SUNDECK – always an attraction as it offers the advantage of being able to see all around and it allows the adults to enjoy the opportunity to watch their children in safety and comfort. The seating of the sundeck is round the perimeter with an island seating arrangement of the liferafts. The deck is non slip and it has substantial hand and knee rails to ensure children are adequately protected.
AFT DECK – This area lets you have an excellent view of where you have just been. The seating is positioned so that the hull forms a back rest for the passengers and with plenty of space to walk around this is probably the best part of the boat.
SALOON- For those who would rather have stayed at home or for those who do not like either sunshine or rain this area has been laid out with tables and bench seats. This is also where you find the ships toilet.
FORWARD DECK – for all those budding sailors who ant to keep a watchful eye on the Captain and for those who prefer to see what is coming next rather what has just happened. Again the feeling of space and yet safety at the same time makes the whole boat one just asking for parents to bring their children, or should that be children to bring their parents.
With everyone living in a fast technological world of mobile phones, MP3 players, iPOD or Game Boy it is an opportunity to demonstrate to their children that there is life away from technology. Every trip on this boat reminds you that modern technology has its place, but history will show that nothing endure like a boat built in Scotland in 1938 by James Noble with over 70 years of thrilling its passengers and providing an income for its owner.
The Bow has a winch to bring up the anchor and a Sampson Post to make fast the lines.
Midships also has Sampson Posts for tying up.
Stern has two Sampson Posts as well as access to the steering gear.
