As these ships are ocean going their four Cargo Holds have been designed to be double hulled and they are of course watertight.

Powered by a single 6 cylinder 5951BHP B& W engine this vessel will work all day at around 12 knots and will have an outstanding 15000 nautical mile range. With the price of fuel varying from country to country you can be selective where you re fuel this vessel.

Engines

MAIN ENGINE
When you design a vessel like this you have to be aware it is going to spend a lot of time at sea and being an Ocean boat you are also aware it has to have a sensible range. That is why we are delighted to be able to report that this vessel has an outstanding range of 15000 nautical miles.

Powered by a single Hitachi-Man B&W 6S35MC two stroke engine which delivers 5951BHP at just 173rpm. This single acting, crosshead, direct reversible, turbocharged engine has 6 cylinders with 350mm Bore x 1470mm Stroke. This engines fulfils the IMO NOx emission Laws. The power is transmitted through the gearbox down the shaft to the single Nickel Aluminium Bronze aerodynamic section keyless right handed propeller.

ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT
3 x 4 stroke, single acting, trunk piston engines each coupled to alternator. These Gen Sets produce about 420kW, AC, 400V, 3 Phase/50 Hertz.

1 x Four cycle, vertical, single acting, radiator cooled type diesel engine. This engine operating at around 1800rpm produce 100kW, AC 400V, 3 Phase/50 Hertz.

STEAM GENERATING PLANT
1 x Composite Boiler, Cylindrical vertical type boiler with pressure atomized burner and feed water regulator (on/off control). Evaporation, Oil fired section : 1200 kg/h Exh. gas section : 800 kg/h (at CSR of M/E under ISO reference condition, and the actual capacity of exhaust gas section is acc. to make’s recommendation. )

Construction

Wright International Ltd only operates with yards that have proved the ability to design and build QUALITY vessels. That is why we are delighted to offer this vessel which has had the hull, equipment outfit, machinery and all appurtenances constructed to comply with BV 1 + HULL + MACH Bulk carrier CSR ESP, Unrestricted navigation, AUT-UMS, Inwatersurvey, MONSHAFT

Designed as an Ocean Going, single screw, double skin BULK CARRIER. The Naval Architects have designed this vessel to be used for the transportation of various products including:
•DRY BULK – grain, metal concentrates, iron ore, scrap metal, coal, bauxite, salt and sugar.
•GENERAL CARGO – machineries, hot coil, forest products, packaged and palletised cargo
•LONG CARGO- such as pipes, bagged cement, bagged cargoes, timber, logs
•DANGEROUS CARGO- as per IMDG of item 4.1,4.2, 5.1, based on natural ventilation.

The vessel to have one complete flush upper deck with forecastle, raked stem with bulbous bow, transom stern and open water type of stern frame. The Cargo will be carried in four cargo holds. All Cargo holds to be designed as double hull with double skin and double bottom. The opening of each hatch to be as follows:

The hatch cover to be folding type, hydraulic operated and secured by quick acting cleats manually. The cargo hatch covers to be built-up as single skin construction with peaked top as per maker’s standard. The hatch cover to be fabricated mainly with mild steel, and high tensile steel may be used partly in accordance with the maker’s practice. The hatch cover to be designed for loads as required by the Class Rules Additional strengthening for partially filled hold to not be considered.

DECK EQUIPMENT
The designers of this vessel have taken into account the full requirements of the Classification Societies and have installed all the required equipment.

CARGO GEAR
3 x electro hydraulic lower pressure deck cranes of single jib type. Capacity 30.0t SWL at 25m max, working radius with hoisting speed min 18-20m/min.(based on maker’s standard).

SUEZ CANAL SEARCHLIGHT DAVIT
1 x steel jib type 0.2t davit to be place on fore part of forecastle deck for hoisting
Suez Canal searchlight and articles. The Suez Canal searchlight should be collapsible type. Hoisting and slewing of steel jib to be done by manual.

F.O. HOSE HANDLING DAVIT
2 x set of davit of 0.5 tons S.W.L. to be place on each side of upper deck at bunker station for the handling of fuel oil hose.

PROVISION CRANE
1 x set of electro operated single jib cranes to be provided, at the back of deckhouse, for hoisting provision, spare parts etc. The working load to be 2 ton with outreach at least 4 m beyond the maximum beam of the ship.

Safety Equipment

SAFETY
Safety at sea can never be taken for granted that is why when the Naval Architects of this vessel decided which Class to build to they also built in added safety features as standard. SOLAS will be provided and all safety equipment will be fully up to date when the vessel is launched.

LIFE BOAT AND LAUNCHING APPLIANCE
1 x free fall type totally enclosed lifeboats for total 25 persons with launching appliance to be fitted on after part of vessel. The lifeboat to be made of glass-reinforced plastic and provided with a fixed diesel engine. The lifeboat to be supplied with inventory and spare parts required by the Rules. The launching appliance to be of one steel cradle for housing the free falling lifeboat at fixed angle, complete with:
•hoisting frame operated by hydraulic cylinders
•guiding rollers on both sides
•power pack electric operated

The release mechanism is operated from the inside of the boat by acting on a brake capable of lowering by gravity fully equipped boat with persons on board at a velocity automatically regulated and ship trimmed and heeled according to SOLAS.

RESCUE BOAT AND DAVIT
1 x rescue boat according to the SOLAS rules to be fitted on starboard of A deck.
It to be made of glass-reinforced plastic. Electrically operated single arm davit to be provided. The davit to be capable of hoisting the rescue boat when loaded with rescue boat complement 6 persons and equipment.

INFLATABLE LIFERAFT
•1 x set of davit launcher type twenty-five (25) persons inflatable liferaft in GRP containers to be installed on A deck starboard side. The davit launched liferafts to be operated by single arm davit (common davit with rescue boat).
•1 x set of throw-out type twenty-five (25) persons inflatable liferaft in GRP containers to be installed on A deck port side with hydrostatic unit.
•1 x set of throw-out type six (6) persons inflatable liferaft in GRP container to be installed on forecastle deck.

LIFEJACKETS AND LIFEBUOYS
Inventory like immersion suits, lifejackets, lifebuoys etc to be supplied as per SOLAS.
Lifejackets for each person on board to be provided and stowed in accessible position and the other four lifejackets to be stowed in engine control room, boson’s store and wheelhouse each. Lifejackets and lifebuoys to be approved design, construction and material and completely equipped in accordance with requirement of SOLAS.

LINE-THROWING APPLIANCES
Line-throwing appliances to be provided in accordance with SOLAS.
