In an ideal world, yachts like this would be sailing every day with a gentle breeze in the right direction at all times. However, in reality it can be very beneficial to have a solid and dependable diesel engine to fall back on if required.
This yacht has the ability to cruise under power thanks to the 80hp Ford Lehman diesel engine. The engine is located amidships and has superb access, crucial not only for basic maintenance but also for any repairs at sea as well.
The engine room is coated with sound insulation providing you with a very quiet and smooth running engine. For additional power at sea, there is a 5kw Westerbeke generator onboard and is located in the engine room as well.

The accommodation of a blue water cruiser can often be very disappointing. There are many naval architects out there that believe a blue water cruiser should be all about weight saving and balance. However, if you are after a cruiser and not a race across the Atlantic, is that few extra kg really going to make a difference? Wouldnt you rather have comfort than speed?
With this yacht, you have both! This is the kind of blue water cruiser that would also make a perfect liveaboard that never even leaves the marina! The yacht offers 2 staterooms plus a converting saloon if required and is fully air-conditioned.
The owners aft stateroom is accessed through a companionway to starboard and offers a queen size berth with massive storage space under the bed and in surrounding shelves, drawers, cabinets and lockers. This stateroom is of course en-suite, giving you and your loved on as much privacy as possible when onboard. There is also an emergency ladder access to the cockpit and helps provide additional ventilation if required.
The forward guest stateroom offers a large V berth again with storage under the bed. As with the aft stateroom, there is ample storage in surrounding shelves, drawers, cabinets and lockers. There is also an overhead hatch and a porthole to provide natural light, ventilation and a means of emergency escape if required.
The main saloon is where you and your friends will be spending time to relax, chill out and enjoy each others company, perhaps over a nice meal and a glass of wine. This saloon is the perfect setting for this and will seat between 6 and 8 guests in comfort. The saloon has benefited from having all the soft furnishings refurbished and it has enhanced the ambience onboard beyond belief. The teak floor and varnished wood work helps set a level of class and elegance that will leave your guests envious of you long after the party ends.
No crew would be complete without having a galley slave onboard. However, with a galley like this, it is more a master chef you are looking for than a galley slave. Microwave, cooker, oven, hot and cold pressure water, fridge, freezer, double sinks ..with a galley like this, you could even offer Martha Stewart a job!
