Engines

One of the many advantages of having a catamaran is having the ability to cruise and manoeuvre with the power of twin diesels. This particular yacht is powered by twin Yanmar 4LHA-STP diesels giving 160hp each and a cruising speed of around 13 knots.

There is a fuel capacity of 2,000 litres onboard allowing you to easily cruise either under power, sail or a combination of both on your next charter.

To help provide power to the cabins when at sea or at anchor, there is a very powerful Onan 17.5kw Generator onboard as well.

Construction

This 2007 Executive 73 Catamaran is one of the most seaworthy sailing yachts in its class. Measuring at 73ft in length with a massive 35ft beam, the yacht is equipped with lifting boards to help make it easier to berth in marina’s, but still remain extremely stable at sea.

With the boards lifted, the draft is only 5ft, making almost any marina and harbour a possibility. However, with the boards dropped down in the water, you have a staggering 9ft draft. This is perfect for the serious offshore passage maker.
