MACHINERY
This vessel is a dumb vessel in that it has no propulsion system of its own. However it has a 255 BHP Kelvin diesel engine which produces the power to the Ward Leonard system for the buckets.
General electric power is generated from a 43 BHP Gen Set plus DC battery system to give 415V 3 Phase; 240V 1 Phase; 24/12 V DC.
There is also an oily water separator installed as well.
Air compressor provides air for deck use.

Originally designed for crew of 4 with total personnel between 10-22.
The vessel was used to work in Canals and it has a Ward Leonard DC Motor to drive the winches and power the Crane.

CONTROLS: The controls are all mounted in the elevated control station which also serves as a communication platform for the operator to communicate with the towing vessel.
