238 Passenger Car Vessel

Wright International Ltd operating on a Global basis we have been fortunate to be able to bring not one but TWO x 238 PASSENGER CAR VESSELS direct from the yard in Iran where they are being built. These two vessels are being manufactured to BV (Bureau Veritas) Classification and will be available in 2009. The Incat designed vessels have been built under the auspices of Incat and BV to ensure the quality synonymous with both names is maintained.

Designed primarily as a passenger vessel it can also carry up to 10 Cars to islands or the Car Deck can carry Cargo depending on the requirements of the owners. These vessels are powered by twin MTU engines rated at 2655 BHP (1980kW) and as the power is transmitted down to the KaMeWa waterjets the result is a working speed of 26 Knots. This package allows these vessels to be used almost anywhere in the world and Wright International Ltd can arrange for them to be delivered to any port in the world for you. If you are in the market for a Passenger Vessel then the first criteria has to be reliability of its power units. When Incat design vessels they design them to last and to operate to the maximum reliably delivering your valuable passengers to their next destination.

How have they done this?

Simple really, they only use the best equipment on their vessels.

The MAIN ENGINES on this vessel are 2 x MTU DETROIT 16V396TE74L 2655 BHP (1980kW) AT 1940RPM. The power is transmitted down through the REINTJES VL J 930 gearboxes to the KaMeWa 80 S11 waterjets.

MTU – has a worldwide reputation for reliability. It also has qualified engineers in almost any port in the world to maintain and service the engines for you.

REINTJES - Manufactured in Germany with a worldwide outlet they are used by Naval Architects and Shipyards all over the world for their reliability to blend in with engine manufacturers and jets or props.

KaMeWa - This Swedish company was acquired by Rolls Royce specifically for fast ferries in the United Kingdom. Their reputation grew to the extent that they are now found with all quality Naval Architects throughout the world.

Designed for 238 Passengers and 8 Crew these vessels are under construction now and can have fit out to suit you and your Budget. It has also the facility to carry up to 10 x 4WD Cars up to 1800kg each. This makes these vessels ideal island hoppers and as Incat has a proven record for Ferry design getting an operating Licence will not be an issue.
