75M – 120TBP – DP2 – AHTS - Wright International Ltd is delighted to be able to offer this superb 120TBP AHTS Direct from the yard that is manufacturing it. The world demand on this size vessel is such that the probability is it will be sold long before it is launched. You have a rare opportunity of looking at the comprehensive specification and deciding if your company is going to be the lucky one taking ownership of it. Fully certificated to ABS with 5,500 nautical miles range at 12 knots, this vessel has accommodation for 40 persons and an endurance of 14 days at sea. This means it can be used for contracts anywhere in the world and with the huge pulling power on almost any marine contract that is out there for the lucky new owner.
The Naval architect was looking for power but also reliability and that is why he opted for the ever reliable and easily maintained MAN engines. The 8 cylinder engines each produce 5000 BHP (3728kW) at just 750 rpm. The power transmitted through the gearbox down the shafts to the two 4 blade Ni-Al bronze controllable pitch propellers set in 3.8m fixed nozzles delivering around 12 knots for the owner to work his contract. The vessel is be designed and built as twin screw with controllable pitch propellers, bow and stern thrusters, and two station controls in wheelhouse. The vessel is suitable to be used as offshore supply, anchor handing, towing and fire fighting vessel (FiFi 1).Not only is this vessel a 120TBP AHTS vessel it is also a DP2 rated vessel. This is done with an integrated joystick control system which provides full interface with the Main propellers, two rudders, bow thrusters and stern thruster. The controls to be fitted in wheelhouse aft station.
This package allows these vessels to be used almost anywhere in the world and Wright International Ltd can arrange for them to be delivered to any port in the world for you. Do not forget Wright International Ltd is able to offer the full and comprehensive package such as:-

MAIN ENGINE
When you are looking for a vessel of this size and power then you have to have a reliable engine behind you. That is why the Naval Architect has selected one of the most reliable engines in the world MAN. Man has a well proven track record that is the envy on many other manufacturers. Not only are they incredibly reliable they are also ubiquitous when it comes to ports with qualified engineers and readily available spares. This vessel is twin screw and the two engines selected were the MAN8L 3240, with their eight cylinders each with 320mm bore x 400mm stroke producing 5000BHP (3728kW) at just 750rpm. Each main engine to drive a controller pitch propeller through a marine vertical offset reduction gearbox.
Two (2) sets of controllable pitch propellers, 3.8 m diameter in 19A fixed nozzles, moderate skew 4 bladed for outboard over the top rotation. Propeller blades and hubs will be in Ni-Al bronze or equal. The blades will be designed for operation in propulsion nozzles. The controller pitch propeller system is to be designed, built and installed to meet Classification standards.
GEN SETS
The Naval Architect who designed this vessel built in all the safety aspects he could and that included making sure each service had a back up if required. The power supply is to be provided by two shaft driven alternators each rated at 1800kW and two Cummins diesel engine driven generators each rated at 400kW. An emergency alternator 99kWe driven by diesel engine in case of main failure. All alternators operate on 415V/3Ph/5Hz at 0.8 P.F., 1500 RPM.
FUEL CONSUPMTION
The Specific Fuel Oil Consumption (SFOC) to ISO conditions has the MAN 8L3240 engine rated at 181 g/kW hr at 100% and 179 g/kW hr at 85%. The Specific Lube Oil Consumption being 0.8 g/kW hr.

The Naval Architect of this vessel was aware of the importance that this vessel had to be built to conform with I.A.C.S. (International Association of Classification Societies) and as a result the vessel is being built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) for Unrestricted Service and to their special survey to hull and machinery for class notation: +A1(E) “Towing Vessel, Fire Fighting Vessel Class1, Offshore Support Vessel AH, +AMS, + DP-2”.
The vessel is be designed and built with a TRIPLE SKIN HULL as twin screw with controllable pitch propellers, bow and stern thrusters, and two station controls in wheelhouse. The vessel is suitable to be used as offshore supply, anchor handing, towing and fire fighting vessel (FiFi 1) The vessel accommodation is located forward above the main deck. The main hull is to be divided by five (5) major watertight bulkheads.
Speed & Bollard Pull
Speed and bollard pull are to be assessed during performance trials. The trial speed is about
14.5 knots speed with vessel loaded to ballast condition and a bollard pull of about 120 tonnes in the ahead condition with vessel loaded to ballast condition. The main engines are to develop their 100% MCR continuous rated brake horsepower for the free running speed and bollard pull trials.
Free running speed trials shall be measured by GPS at a maximum engine 100% MCR power, in deep water.
During the bollard pull trials, adequate propeller immersion is to be ensured. The depth of water below keel is not to be less than 2 times the maximum draught of the vessel. The tow ropes length, clear of the stern, shall be at least two times the length of the vessel. Bollard pull shall be measured by a calibrated dynamometer.
