47m Twin Screw Landing Craft

Wright International Ltd is very fortunate to now be in a position to offer a number of new landing crafts either under construction or made to order. Of all the landing craft designs we have seen, this is by far one of the most well thought out and cleverly designed of them all. At 47m in length, you have plenty of deck space for carrying a wide range of cargo from people, cars, trucks, machinery, livestock or timber etc. The cargo itself is virtually limitless with landing crafts being used in all 7 oceans. This particular example is due for launch in 2008 and as such will be very much in high demand. Make sure you don’t miss the boat as it could take years before you can sail away on anything like it.

Engines

The engines onboard this 47m Landing Craft are Yanmar 6LAH-STE3 diesel engines producing 470kw @ 1900rpm each. These engines are coupled to Reintjes WAF 364L gearboxes with a ratio of 4.481:1. This gives you plenty of power at both low and high speed.

For extra manoeuvrability you also have a bow thrusters unit providing 3 tons of thrust being driven from a 230kw @ 2500rpm auxiliary engine.

You will also find 3 x 80kw Cummins 6BT5.9D(M) generators onboard to provide any electricity required whether at anchor or at sea.
