Construction

This Ocean Going vessel was manufactured in Turkey in the year 2000. It is manufactured from 8mm steel and designed and build for Ocean Passages. Designed to be four levels, it was originally constructed as a Survey Vessel and Marine Research. In 2005 it underwent a complete rebuild and converted for use as a day passenger vessel for up to 58 persons or as a Cruise vessel with six large cabins to take up to 12 persons including crew.

An American electric Bow Thruster was installed at the refit to make life simpler docking in confined areas. At the same time a new passerelle gangway was installed for passenger use and a 20 Ft wide diver/ swimming platform installed, again for use of the passengers.

The high grade quality finish on the hull comes from the fact that despite having SEVEN coats of Jotun paint it was sandblasted and given a further two coats.
