14m Dive Support Vessel

Wright International Ltd is delighted to bring these NEW BUILD steel Multi Purpose Vessels direct from the yard. Manufactured in the Ukraine these vessels have had an excellent history for their versatility in use. Originally designed and built as Dive support vessels they are equally at home as general purpose workboats as they are excellent for towing with a very useful 5 Tonnes Bollard Pull. They were designed for offshore use in the Oil and Gas sectors but have more recently been used in more inshore waters. Operationally designed for up to 2m waves or Beaufort wind force 6 and up to 50 miles from safe haven. These vessels also have six berth accommodations in two cabins, a galley and a heads.

Engines

Working with the Manufacturers direct allow Wright International Ltd to get you the Specification you are after for your next vessel. This is especially relevant when it comes to engines. The engines for this vessel are Volvo Penta and they were selected for their reliability, there ease of maintenance and there superb performance on a vessel like this. If you only have one engine you have to make sure it is reliable.

Option 1 - Volvo Penta D9MH (425 HP)
The D9 is an in line diesel engine and is the state of art for Marine diesel engines. This range of engine is world famous for its performance and combined with low fuel consumption and low emissions is welcomed in all environmentally ports and harbours around the world. The D9 MH is in line 6 cylinder 4 stroke with direct injected turbo charged diesel with aftercooler. The six cylinders with their 120mm Bore x 138mm Stroke pistons operate in the 1800 – 2200rpm range to provide the maximum power with the minimum fuel consumption.

Option 2 - Volvo Penta D12MH (550 HP).
The D12 is the larger version of the above and is selected more when using the vessel offshore. The D12 MH is in line 6 cylinder 4 stroke with direct injected turbo charged diesel with aftercooler. The six cylinders with their 131mm Bore x 150mm Stroke pistons operate in the 1800 – 2200rpm range to provide the maximum power with the minimum fuel consumption.
