36ft Aluminium Sports Fisher

This particular boat was launched in 1987 and is constructed of ¼ inch Munson “Hammerhead” Aluminium. Engines

The engine onboard a sports fisher like this is like ordering a beer from the bar. Sure, anyone can order a beer, but when you know which beer to order to win over your friends, the rest of the beers don’t matter.

This boat could have been designed to carry a 4 or 6 cylinder, 100hp diesel but is that really what you want? Wouldn’t you rather watch your friends reaction when you fire up all 525 of your Detroit horses? That’s right 525hp!!

The GM 8v92 TI Detroit Diesel has been serviced and maintained on a regular basis. The boat also comes complete with a 400 US Gallon fuel tank, hydraulic steering and trim tabs.

The engine itself is coupled to an Allison reduction gearbox with a 2:1 gear ratio. This is connected to a 2¼ inch stainless steel shaft. The propeller is a 3 bladed 28 inch x 32 inch prop giving you plenty of grip on the water.

Construction

For about the past 25 years, aluminium has fast become the number 1 choice for many sports fisher enthusiasts. The beauty of aluminum is that it is strong, lightweight and very easy to maintain. This boat is constructed of a ¼ inch Munson “Hammerhead” construction.

The boat is so strong, well built and well equipped that it has been certificated with the US Coast Guard documented Coastwise Service. The construction of the boat also includes a steering position both inside and on the flybridge.

The flybridge is often preferred for close quarter manoeuvring but also for big game fishing such as shark or tuna.
