MAIN ENGINE
This vessel has been fitted with the Mitsubishi S6A – 300 – 3 engine rated at 300 BHP (223kW) at 1500 rpm. It was installed in 1998 and overhauled in 2006 and has full maintenance service history by BV Mitsubishi agents. The power is transmitted from the engine through the 4.6:1 reduction MASON gearbox down the shaft to the 1240mm 4 blade propeller contained within a 1250mm Kort Nozzle.

There is a Volvo Penta 2000 series 17HP driving 24V alternator and hydraulic back up pump.

Construction

Dutch Built – a statement that requires no further explanation. This steel Dutch Built vessel is as good today as it was when it was manufactured in 1984. Manufactured as a Fishing Vessel it was based on a design that was equally at home as a workboat. However with such large aft deck space it would also be very accommodating to the various survey contracts that are on the go just now with Global Warming.
