This vessel is propelled by a 16 cylinder Mirrlees Blackstone ESL 16Mk2 engine rated at 3550 BHP (2648kW). The cylinders with their 292mm Stroke x 221mm Bore deliver the power which is transmitted through the reduction gearbox down the shaft to the Bronze propeller.
