Engines

The main engine onboard is a Stork 6 Cylinder FHD 240 diesel engine. This produces in the region of 370kw or 500hp @ 750rpm. This is not an engine you hook up to laptops and run diagnostics on, this is a proper old school engine where you service it with engineers and not technicians. Being old school, at only 750rpm the engine does not burn a million gallons per hour, this is a slow revving engine that has proved to be extremely reliable and economical over the years.

The engine drives a four bladed propeller via a Masson 4.5:1 ratio gearbox. This gives great power for not only cruising to your next destination, but for close quarter manoeuvring once you get there as well.

For electrical power onboard, the main engine also powers a 35kva 110v dc generator, 80 amp 24v alternator and a hydraulic power pack which powers the anchor winch and deck crane.

Accomodation

This boat would be ideally suited to those looking to operate liveaboard dive charter tours. As this boat offers as much space onboard, the boat has been designed to offer accommodation for 12 guests in 3 cabins. There are 2 x 3 berth cabins as well as a 6 berth cabin as well. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets onboard, a large saloon and a galley equipped to cook the catch of the day.
