Engines

MAIN ENGINE
This is a Multi Purpose Vessel and to that end the engine room has been designed to accommodate what is required of it by the Captain. It is a triple engine jet drive with retractable hydro foil allowing for many variations in speed and performance. Powered by:
2 x Cummins 430BHP Diesel engines
1 x Cummins 450BHP Diesel engine

The power is transmitted down to the triple Alpha 356 Power Jets allowing a wide range of speed up to 25 Knots.

HYDROFOIL
The Hydrofoil is retractable and adjustable depending on the role the vessel has for it at the time.

STEERING
Due to its speed and performance the Naval Architect opted for Hydraulic steering allowing outstanding manoeuvrability in almost any wave conditions.

BOW THRUSTER
For close quarter manoeuvring there is a Bow Thruster included as well as the triple jet drives.

BILGE PUMPS
9 x Immersed Bilge Pumps
(2 per compartment + 1 for Bulkhead)

The vessel has been fitted with outstanding sound proofing allowing the guests on board to enjoy the ride with minimum of noise from engine room.

Construction

HULL DESIGN
This vessel has been passed by the Canadian Authorities to have 150 Persons on board. Designed and built with a retractable hydrofoil this aluminium vessel exudes quality and integrity. There is seating for 121 pax with 90 of the seats being coloured PVC folding type with cushions for additional comfort.

It is however operating with around the 100 Pax. This is the maximum on the main deck for dining. The tables are removable in just 30 minutes. The main deck has Lexan sliding glass walls to allow the Diners a panoramic view. The upper level is used at the moment as a sun deck.

WHEELHOUSE
The wheelhouse is raised for use in canals and rivers and the cockpit is self draining. There is a pilot seat for the Captain.

TOILETS
There two toilets on board and have again been passed by the Canadian Authorities as fully compliant for the disabled. The toilets are held in holding tanks with hydraulic pumps.

ENTERTAINMENT
This Multi Purpose Vessel comes complete with its own advanced sound system. Driven by 3 amplifiers the 84 speakers (YES THIS IS NOT A MISPRINT THERE ARE 84 SPEAKERS ON BOARD) and of course the ubiquitous Plasma Screen to complete the package. The sound is zone controlled so the “Entertainment” can be segmented as required.
