Engines

This 28m tug is powered by the ever reliable Ruston 6 ATCM Turbo diesel with an auto lubrication system installed. The engine room offers a small workshop area and store area making servicing and repairs very quick and easy to assemble.

The engine is coupled to a MWD Reverse 3:1 gearbox which was stripped and serviced in July 2008 with all clutches removed, serviced and reset at this time.

There are also a number of generators onboard this tug including;-

Accomodation

The tug benefits from having accommodation for 8 of a crew with two separate heads and showers onboard. This allows you the freedom to chase more long distance towage contracts without having to deal with mutiny onboard!!

No crew is going to be at their best without a full engineers breakfast being served and in this galley, you will be able to serve up meals for the whole harbour let alone whole boat.

Navigation Equipment

The navigation equipment onboard this tug includes all the usual electronics you would expect to find on a working vessel like this, but also includes 2 radars. There are also both electronic and paper charts onboard with the paper charts covering the British Isles, whilst the electronics show almost global coverage.
