38.6m Self Propelled Survey Barge

Wright International Ltd can now offer for sale and for charter a very unique and versatile survey barge that has already won contracts previously in the North Sea, South America, West Africa and the Gulf of Mexico and is certificated for unrestricted world wide operations and sea passages. This survey barge is capable of operating in shallow water as shallow as approximately 2.0 metres fully loaded. This includes the back deck equipment of approximately 55.0 tonnes and the shelter deck installations up to 20.0 tonnes. A very versatile workboat that is sure to attract a lot of attention, especially for only $2.5m USD.

Engines

This survey barge is powered by twin 12V – 71N Detroit Diesels. These engines are coupled to reverse and reduction twin disc gear boxes allowing you to cruise at around 7 knots.

There is a Magamax 175Kw Electric Generator and a Leroy-Somer 250Kw Electric Generator onboard as well as a Detroit 6V-71 Diesel Generator.

The hydraulic system onboard is fed through the entire ship and consists of the following:-

Accomodation

This self propelled survey barge was fully upgraded and rebuilt in 2005. As part of the upgrades on this boat, the accommodation was increased to give 24 berths in a combination of single, twin or 4 man cabins.

The cabins were all tastefully finished in light colours with plenty of light, air conditioning and ventilation as the crew are often onboard for long durations at a time.
