45ft Hydrofoil Catamaran

This 45ft hydrofoil catamaran can let you cruise at speeds of around 25 knots, reach speeds in excess of 40 knots and thanks to its hydrofoil hull, it not only out performs all other sports fishers, but outperforms the other catamarans as well. Being a hydrofoil allows you a higher top speed with existing engines, smaller engines can be fitted to reach desired top speed, reduced fuel consumption by 20 - 40%, increased range by 20 - 40% and the combination of the hydrofoil and catamaran hull design makes this an exception sea keeping boat. Engines

This 45ft hydrofoil catamaran comes with a range of engine options. Ideally, the manufacturers can supply power plant and drive system options ranging from 250hp to 440hp diesel inboard motors with a choice of `Z' drive, jet propulsion or surface drives. The performance with a pair of 440hp motors and surface drives will attain speeds in excess of 45 knots. Twin 315hp motors with stern drives will give up to 40 knots with craft weight at approximately 7 tons. At around 12 knots the yacht will get onto the hydrofoils giving you a very smooth and comfortable ride at all times.

Construction

The construction of this boat has been designed and built to offer a stable, offshore sports cruiser that can be used for luxury cruising, dive charter or offshore fishing. This boat pulls this job off perfectly thanks to its asymmetrical, stepped catamaran hulls supported by the latest in foil assisted lift technology. The hydrofoil greatly improves fuel economy, lower horsepower is required and as such both speed and range are extended.

The single level outside entertaining space is unsurpassed for a craft of this size while her below-deck appointments provide comfortable over-nighting facilities. We are delighted to announce several hull configuration options for this boat including a Sport Cruiser, Sport Fishing or an Open Model (Centre Console).
